Shira, late summer
Shira, late summer; R Williamson. acrylic and pencil on gessoed canvas with digital embellishments; 12” x 18”; 8/25
I try not to let a summer pass without a new painted sketch of my daughters. This summer, Oona got away before it happened but Shira was able to sit still for 30 minutes while she was in town. Always surprises me how much I enjoy this process, even when I lose the semblance war. It leaves me wanting to do more even though I rarely do portrait studies in color.
