A new miniature painting based on Indian court painting from Rajasthan in the 17th century. The narrative storytelling aspect of the originals continues to exert some appeal to me. Without knowing the original tales, I enjoy adapting some of the motifs and characters and reimagining them.

This piece will probably end up as a gift to one of my daughters.

The size is quite small for such a large scene - 18” wide x 12” tall.
