Bees, Hives, & Stumps meet Honey Month at The Lodge at St Edwards

Collage with Frog Eggs (detail); R Williamson, Acrylic on canvas; 24” w x 30” h; 4/25

Honey Month brings with it the bees. Don’t get me started on the proliferation of spiders in my yard, this is much more appealing. A current (9/25) show of pieces that relate to bees and honey (as many of the recent ones do) went up last month at The Lodge at Saint Edwards. Paintings and wall sculptures are grouped in the lower display hall directly across from the George Tsutakawa area. Good company to have.

The tie-in is with the autumn harvest of honey by resident beekeeper, Dan Sullivan, that marks Honey Month at the Lodge. His Shipwreck Honey is a featured part of various offerings in the restaurant, bar, and even the spa on site.. As always the rotating art exhibits are curated by Kamela Daniels of Catalyst Fine Art. Now celebrating 4 years of shows featuring local artists that are perhaps underrepresented.
