Salmon Head / Honey; R Williamson, acrylic on canvas over panel; 24” w x 30” h; 8/25

This is a painting that appeared in a recent show which upon consideration I then largely redid. Taking out the dark background and bumping up a few things here and there. Still retains the homage to Hokusai in the form of the salmon head with the rope through the gills, which appears in his delicate painting, ‘Salmon and White Mice’

This painting is 24” wide x 30” tall on canvas stretched over a deep cradled panel (1.5” deep). Headed soon to my Saatchi site.
