Starting with a line sketch done quickly on site, in the studio this drawing became just a little bit more. I seem to be building a small series of random figures like this, for what purpose I don’t know. Sometimes I do things like this on the iPad but it feels so good to work on paper without the ability to erase, rearrange layers, or fiddle.

The red and black clothes seen against the white medical room provided the impetus for doing this. On 300 lb hot press rag paper. Size: 22” x 30”
