Forest Flood (Winter)

Forest Flood (Winter); R Williamson, acrylic and ink on rice paper and wood panels; 56” wide x 14” tall x ¾” deep; 5/26

Whether with paintings or wall sculpture, I’ve been working predominantly in vertical format over the past several years. But I’ve wanted to do some things that are VERY horizontal. So this is the first in what might become a series of panel pieces, including this one which is designed to be mounted with accordion folds but without hinges between the panels..

Sticking to a very constrained earth palette for the moment. Subsequently signed in the upper right after these snapshots were taken.

Size is: 56” wide x 14” tall x ¾” deep
