Bear Boy with iPhone

A quick painting from a line sketch that had the minimum information, but just this kid on the streets of New York with the bear hat … Kind of a dreamy sense of modern childhood.

I’m using these exercises to learn a bit about painting in oil, something I’ve rarely done and haven’t touched at all in 30 years.
