A snapshot of a recent installation. The piece in question is from several years ago, ’Decayed Stump (confetti)’ and appeared in two different shows. It now resides in the art filled Seattle home of Carol McQueen and John Gillespie.

I rarely get to see where these pieces end up and whether they’re displayed in a way that brings out their best. These wood sculptures often look best with lots of space around them and against wall with a solid color that doesn’t clash. I was pleased to see how they have arranged the room and used this short diagonal wall to show it.
