Charred Stump 2
Charred Stump 2; R Williamson, wood scraps, plywood, acrylic paint, plaster; 27.5” wide x 35” tall x 1.5” deep, 6/25
This is probably #7 in my stump series, an open-ended set of abstracted stump forms. A humble subject if there ever was one. As the title indicates, this one is the second to depict a partially burnt stump. Little flecks of green are scattered throughout to indicate the growth of moss after a winter or two.
Both of the charred stumps have been scaled down slightly from my earlier versions, making them more friendly for limited wall space. That said, I would tend to display this with lots of room around it.
Size is 27.5” wide x 35” tall. Soon to be a part of a show on the Eastside coming up in August.
