Big Ass Rooster for 2 French Guys
Big Ass Rooster; R Williamson; line art mural graphic; 5/25
A last minute rooster of the gilded variety at a new location for a previous client. 2 French Guys opened their first retail bakery/cafe store on North Capital Hill two years ago and are now poised to launch again, this time in University Village. A much larger space, this one features a spacious loft level, and much more seating without feeling cavernous.
From the start owners Thibault and Renaud wanted to create a more French country vibe in their establishments and the rooster is somewhat iconic of all that. They got their start selling their fresh baked goods at local farmers markets and pop-ups in the Puget Sound area before building up to formal locations.
Painted in a mix of Golden Fluid Acrylics - bronze (fine), India yellow, and a few drops of Titanium White. Covered in one coat over a very black green background. Opening by mid-June, best guess.
