I completed these two sculptures of sporty figures early this week and they’re now headed to Katy, Texas. There they will be displayed on the lobby walls of a brand new Villa Sport in Cinco Ranch.

The super-bold glyphs are just my made up abstractions but ended up reading as a totemic mash-up of ancient symbols, cattle brands, and stone carved pictographs, inviting the viewer to make their own sense of them.
