Yet another version of taking a sketchbook page of simple line drawing and plumping it up into a painting. I posted a previous version that was half painted/half drawn in charcoal. This one is in oil and then with a cool digital filter applied. The palette was already pretty quiet but warmer, applying the blue filter really accentuated that in a way that seemed to fit the more formal feel of this one. Also the strands of hair obscuring the face were done digitally (for now). The strands are faithful to the sketch.
