Garden Variety Cactus (sketch)

I find that on visits to Southern California and similar climes, the mere sight of garden variety cacti strewn across the landscape sends me scrambling for a sketchbook or iPad. There are just begging me to draw them. This one happened to be near the coast somewhere in Orange County in early February this year.
