A quick study in acrylics based on my memory of walking along the north shore of Tricase Porto in Southern Italy. The giant crags caught the last direct sunlight rays of the day while the Ionian Sea stretched out behind towards the east. I suspect that the horizontal lines are indications of ancient quarrying as most of the old buildings here are built with the local limestone and tufa blocks.
