Mason Turner - Back in Tucson (outtake)

Was going through some of my cactus sketches and paintings from the past 10 years, looking for things to use in a current hospitality project. I came across this one. Here employed as a CD cover for young country signer, Mason Marcus Turner.

We ended up with a brighter, more colorful image for his ‘Back in Tucson’ release but I liked seeing this rejected version again. To me it evokes the desert at night and has a moody, abstracted quality.
