A layered jumble of ink drawings from a year ago, all done in various parts of Italy. Scanned in from one of my sketchbooks upon returning. Whether a Bernini sculpture, an obscure church in a Piemontese valley, or some random sunbathers lying on the rocky slabs that line the coast near the tip of Puglia, once home it’s just a bunch of black lines. But the stories behind the lines feed me for the entire year.
